Small, very cozy and delicious garden pub. Super tasty food. We recommend.

After all the restaurants in Bad Kösen were absolutely overcrowded, we googled the green cucumber, which is very remote from the main mile and borders a garden. We sat outside in the garden. There was a very good view, across masses of nettles to the hall. The tables were unfortunately very dirty, with numerous glass rims from various predecessors, extra questionable in Corona times. Guest room joa ... Toilets ok, but thanks to the motion detector you sat quickly in the dark, so please orient yourself beforehand. Since the entire kitchen team allowed themselves a generous break around 4 p.m. - without being informed about this - we waited almost 1.5 hours for the food! We only held out because of a lack of other options and hunger pangs. We had to tip overboard the plans for our return trip by bike. The food was good, some components homemade. Price reasonable, service nice. The dirty tables and the waiting time a no go, so unfortunately only 2 stars

It's a shame, the good location right on the Saale unfortunately didn't help over the fact that the service was understaffed with only one person and therefore massively overwhelmed. Within 20 minutes, the waitress didn't even manage to ask for the drink. This is by no means to blame on her, but as an operator you should plan more responsibly with the staff.

The food was delicious, so was the wine. The ambience, however, takes some getting used to, a bit shabby and littered, but you can still live with it. What is not possible ... the unfriendliness of the innkeeper! As non-locals, we were punished with disrespect and rude service. Dear innkeeper, there is another way of doing it, then you also make sales! Which should definitely not harm your shop! Wouldn't stop there again. Too bad, missed chance! A well-kept restaurant looks different, there is no recommendation from me.

Very nice location, on the Saale in an allotment area. Something hidden in Bad Kösen, therefore mostly not very crowded. Now with goats on the fence, maybe later in the kitchen. Menu is clear, the food is good middle-class and tasted delicious.

If you are on the way, then go there. Everything is freshly cooked and is delicious. That is only recommended.

I can only recommend this location. Has already been there several times and I'll be back shortly! The food is excellent, fresh and homemade! The ambience is absolutely cozy and the landlord (s) are relaxed 😁 Definitely worth a visit!

A garden restaurant with good German cuisine, very good prices and a fireplace. The host is business-minded and quick. Large group even after opening hours, no problem. The food is delicious. If you want to taste local wines before buying a pig in a poke, this is the place for you, approx. 16 open wines Outside area is still under construction.

Just eat the top! If I am visiting Bad Kösen a trip to there is an absolute must for me!
